R.J.'s 4 Month Checkup!

Riker went in for his 4 month well baby visit yesterday. He is now 13 lbs & 2 oz. and still in the 25th percentile for his weight. He is now 24 & 3/4 inches tall which finally bumped him slightly over the 50th percentile for heigth! Yea! His head is back to a normal shape and the doctor commented on how strong he is. He had 4 shots and his daddy was right by his side the entire time (the nurse had to tell Erik to "back off"). Riker didn't cry until the 3rd shot when he figured out something didn't feel right :) Then, in typical Riker fashion, he only cried for about a minute or two and then just snuggled up to dad. Erik takes off the days for RJ's doctor visits and always goes with us. I think the shots are worse for him than Riker :) He is a BIG help with all of it. After his doctor visit, Riker slept for quite a while and was a little under the weather all evening. He went to bed at 8 pm, an hour earlier than normal, and woke up his old self this morning. We will see what the day holds for us, but I think he will be just fine despite the trauma!
