This week RJ hit a major milestone!
He began reading!!
Now, yes, he had started reading when he was 3.
He was reading books he had memorized and simple
"See Jane run" type things.
But THIS week-
this week he read me a Bernstein Bears book!
It was SO exciting!
Can you tell how excited I am?
I started to read to him a book before bed as usual.
Suddenly, he just started reading for me and off he went.
The entire book!
Of course I helped him to sound out a few tough, long words, but for the most part he did it all himself.
Exciting times!
